Wacky RacesSTORY / GAMEPLAY
Wacky Races has 4 different racing stages and one extra stage in which you just control the fellow dog and must collect items within the time limit. All of the races are fun to play although a bit difficult as you progress and sometimes a bit frustrating. The game plays more like an arcade platform than a racing game reminding us of Zool or even Robocod, but overall, the gameplay is quite amusing! Your main goal is to complete each racing course finishing at a particular position, while your car (or whatever that is) is armed with a forward-shooting arrow that can impale the opposition cars and any obstacles found on your way (like boulders, rabbits and more).

GRAPHICS / SOUND
The game on the Commodore home computers features colorful graphics and smooth sprites animation. But note that although the sprites move smoother on the C64, the CPC version features 3 levels of parallax scrolling. The game's sound is better compared to the CPC as it features a nice intro tune and some good sound effects in-game, particularly the car engine.
